Sierra Construction did a nice work framing and finishing a small closet that I wanted to be done, steel stud framing had to be used since we have concrete floors and ceilings.
We do wood framing since residential properties are done this way but if you live in a building with concrete floors and ceilings and you want a wall or a ceiling installed sometimes the only option will be to use steel stud framing.
We know how to do it and can help you with it, the use of steel studs or suspended ceiling also called grid "x" in this places is highly recommended and sometimes the only option since is way lighter than if we try to do the same work using wood studs.
We service Summit, Eagle County Colorado and surrounding areas including Breckenridge, Blue River, Keystone, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, Copper, Vail, Eagle-Vail, Avon, Edwards, Etc.

Nice work moving a wall in my bedroom to make the bathroom bigger, I recommend them for your framing needs.

They did a nice work removing all my kitchen cabinets and re-framing the counter area to get it ready for new counter tops and cabinets during my kitchen remodel, the drywall repairs around the old cabinets look great.

Nice work framing an entire ceiling for me because I wanted some lights installed and the building floors are made of concrete, with this new ceiling I was able to install the lights that I wanted and the ceilings look really nice.
They work around the same but sometimes a material is used because is easier in the place where the work is going to get done for example to frame with wood a big ceiling and attach it to concrete will be way more difficult than using pieces of steel framing designed for this work.
If the old framing is wood or steel the same material can be used.
Yes we can do a suspended ceiling also called Grid "x" ceiling to install lights when a ceiling is made of concrete, this way drywall can be installed and finished.
The average height that is going to be lost when we do a suspended ceiling installation if you are going to install LED lighting is around 5 inches since this is needed for the installation of small LED lights controllers and to compensate when the ceilings are not even or level.
If you want to install old-school can lights the height that you are going to lose is going to be bigger since these kinds of lights are taller inside the ceiling.
We use special tools that work with gun powder to be able to drive the nails into concrete so they are a little loud, there are a few other tools for other kinds of work that are as loud as this.
Yes we can install resilient channel on the ceiling and then install the new drywall on top of it, this way we create a layer of space between the framing and the drywall or between the old and the new drywall.
Doing this is better when some noise dampening is wanted than if you just install the drywall.
Yes sometimes in a kitchen remodel the new counter tops are going to be lower or higher that the older ones and re-framing the wall that is going to hold them is needed and we can do it.
