Interior Painting.

This is one of the few upgrades that you can do to the interior of your property where you are going to see the results right away, with just a coat of paint you can bring a place out of the seventies, change even the amount of perceived light in the room by using lighter colors, etc.

Steps we follow for Interior Painting.

  1. Interior painting can be messy work since everything has to be protected from the little droplets of paint that will fall when doing the painting is for this reason that before we do any interior priming or painting we will protect all your property with tarps, plastic, paper, etc. and the furniture or stuff will be moved out of the work area if possible.

  2. If this was just textured or the current color is too strong a primer will be needed before the painting can be done, this way it will be easier to cover the old color and if this is a new work the primer will seal the new texture and make it ready to be painted.

  3. If we are painting the walls and there are gaps between the trim and the drywall behind it they will be caulked to hide this gap, this way the paint work will look cleaner and the paint lines more straight and professional.

  4. 2 coats of paint will be done since is recommended, some paints advertise that they will do a perfect coat with just a single coat but we have found out in the years of doing this kind of service that most of the time the surfaces will need the 2 coats that have been always recommended.

  5. After the work is done all the stuff that we used to protect your property will be removed and the area will be cleaned.

Frequently asked questions that we get when doing Interior Painting.

We do not have a set price for Interior painting, since there are details that are going to make any paint work easier or more difficult like:

  • The size and height of the rooms.
  • What areas need to be painted like Kitchen, Bathrooms, etc.
  • Amount of furniture in the work area.
  • If is a re-paint or new drywall.

Yes we will use tarps, plastic, paper, etc. to protect everything to make sure that no paint or primer will stain your property.

If the area that you want to be primed or painted is small yes we can give you an estimate based in a few pictures but for a bigger work we need to go in person and take measurements and as questions about the service needed.

If the area to be primed or painted is small maybe the work can be finished the same day but most of the time at least 2 days are needed.

The only places where a paint sprayer will be used is in new construction or in places that are empty and is easy to cover everything with plastic since a paint sprayer will create a fine spray that is going to fly everywhere, is for this reason that a regular brush and roller will be used most of the time.

These days paint technology is so good that most paints will look good and remain like that for a long time, is for this reason that we do not recommend a particular brand or store to get the paint as long as is not the cheapest paint that you can find, we can give you an estimate for just the labor and you can buy the paint in any store or brand that you like and if we are bidding for the materials too please let us know of any preference for a particular paint so we can take it into account for the estimate.
